About Me
Dedicated to Your Health, Right Where You Are
I’m Adam Sanchez MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience providing professional, personalized and compassionate care in Oregon where I was born and raised. My journey in medicine began right here in the Willamette Valley and has led me through nearly every facet of patient care—from the fast-paced environment of acute inpatient hospital units as a registered nurse to acute, long-term chronic disease management and preventative care as a board certified Nurse Practitioner.
After earning my graduate degree from Gonzaga University, I practiced in our community as a Nurse Practitioner, first at the Salem Clinic and then Sunrise Family Clinic providing personalized, evidenced based care across the lifespan (newborns to advanced age) with a holistic approach based on what my patients’ found important to them. While practicing in this high volume, room to room environment, I realized that for many, the biggest barrier to optimal health isn’t a lack of will—it’s a lack of feeling “lost” in a system, not feeling heard, as well as access and convenience. That is why I launched my at-home primary care practice. I find personal and professional joy and satisfaction in providing meaningful, personalized care and I bring this professional, personalized medical care directly to you; combining the clinical expertise of a traditional clinic with the time, convenience and comfort of a home visit.
Roots in our community
I was born and raised here in the Salem/Keizer area, which makes me uniquely qualified to understand community resources and the healthcare landscape. My wife and I raised our four children just outside of Independence Oregon were my wife and I continue to live. Personally I enjoy working around the property, helping in the garden and teaching my grandchildren the joys of working with their hands (I find therapy in working with my hands and keeping my body active). When time allows, I like to take my motorcycle out and explore new routes to familiar destinations. In addition to this, I find great joy in serving others; I volunteer at the Salem/Polk Free Clinics and provide medical care at youth camps, serving with my wife.
I truly look forward to the privilege of getting to know you and the people who matter most to you. Whether you are navigating a major transition in health or simply seeking balance and/or improvement in how you feel, I am here to walk alongside you. My commitment is to nurture your physical, emotional, and mental well-being, ensuring you have the health and vitality to enjoy every step of your unique journey.
